Due to the ladder up to the sleeping area do we not recommend our guest house for children up to 12 years.
Generally speaking do we rent out our house for at least two nights. For Eco packages we can make however exceptions, depending on the overall booking situation. Get in touch with us to discuss further.

We have a standard rate for overnights from Sunday to Friday and a weekend rate for overnights on Fridays and Saturdays. Go to "Packages" to see an overview about our rates per person, by choosing dates in the packages you can see the total amount for your wished period.
Each platform uses different methods to determine prices. In addition, service costs are charged on other platforms. As a result, the prices on our own website are (generally) slightly cheaper, but prices may differ.

Lilla Hotellet is located in Ekolsund, about 20 minutes away from the two small towns Bålsta or Enköping. Ekolsund is a village with residential buildings and summer houses only. Therefore do we recommend to buy food before arrival or to book our packages that include food. Nearest (emergency) option is a petrol station, which is about 2 km away and can be reached by foot.
Generally speaking do we recommend to arrive by car in order to be flexible, especially if you would like to do excursions. But it's possible. First you go by train from Stockholm to Bålsta, then by public bus no. 310 to bus stop Stämsvik Granlund. In the morning and late afternoon there are hourly connections, in-between not that many. From the bus stop it is a 20 minutes walk with panorama view until you reach our guest house. Please note that you walk on gravel, therefore do we recommend to bring a backpack instead of a suitcase, as it is a bit tricky to roll a suitcase on the gravel.
You can park your car in the courtyard free of charge. It's also possible to charge your hybrid- or electric car at no additional costs.
Breakfast is included in our "Foodie" and "All Inclusive" packages. You can also add it as an extra when booking our other packages.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge (without freezer), a dish washer, four cooking plates and an oven. There is also a filter coffee machine, a soda stream and cooking utensils.

Yes, our guest house can be booked all year round.
Yes, it's allowed, you do not need a fishing license. You can try your luck from the floating bridge, we succeeded several times. There is however also a bridge in walking distance that is very popular amongst fishermen.
